We're currently searching for a Beauty Editor to complete our team at Sejais. You must have an extensive knowledge of beauty, in fact you must love it. No cookie cutter descriptions but real reviews of products. You must have knowledge of trends and be able to translate all of this into the magazine. You will be responsible for working with the entire editorial team to help create story boards. You will be working with our hired production teams to complete shoots, projects, etc. You will be responsible for maintaining the beauty board cupboard, responding to press emails, attending beauty press events, etc. You will be required to travel when necessary.

We prefer someone with experience as a beauty editor, preferably at a magazine. A Bachelor's degree in Journalism or Writing is preferred but not required if your experience is extensive. We encourage those who live in the tri-state area to apply, as this position is located in NYC.

We are seeking an experienced Fashion Assistant, who is based in NYC. This is a part-time position with approximately 20-25 work hours a week. The position consist of helping with pick-ups on pieces pulled for editorials, confirmations on items requested, acting as a liaison between designers and editorial staff, being a team player at photoshoots, which can include but isn't limited to, dressing the models, taping, pinning, etc. We prefer someone with at least one year of experience at a magazine is preferable, but not necessary.
